In a bold public statement, he did not hold back against the militants currently operating out of Lebanon. ​Macron stated flat-out that Hezbollah made a catastrophic "strategic mistake" by deciding to attack Israel. He directly accused the militant group of selfishly dragging the innocent Lebanese civilian population into a devastating regional crisis. ​

A Firm Warning to Israel
